This series of bear collages was sent out as thank you’s to patrons and helpers of the “Bear: New works by Kristen Throop” exhibit. The cards measure 4 x 6″ and were accompanied by handmade envelopes made from Mohawk Loop 110 lb cover weight paper. Mohawk Loop is a post-consumer waste recycled paper which is FSC certified, made with windpower and made carbon neutral.
Though simple in shape, the collages are like bears — of a piece with their surroundings.
